ADVANTAGES FOR MEMBERS

• KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND NETWORKING: SAFJA serves as a portal for sharing knowledge and a platform for networking for its members. We facilitate communication and information sharing among members and stakeholders, including international networks and linkages.

• TECHNICAL GUIDANCE: We provide insight and guidance to members on technical issues and challenges pertaining to fruit juice regulations and similar concerns.

• CODE OF ETHICS: All SAFJA members sign a Code of Ethics, ensuring standards and practices that maintain a fair competitive environment.

• STANDARDS AND COMPLIANCE: Raising standards and continuously encouraging compliance to maintain industry excellence, including our self-regulatory programme.

• REGULATORY ADVOCACY: We aim to create a favourable regulatory environment through active engagement with government departments and serving as a collective voice for advocacy on behalf of members to foster industry sustainability and growth.

• CONSUMER PROTECTION: We are committed to protecting consumers while building their trust in fruit juice products. We strongly promote truth in labelling and fair trade, in line with the principles of fairness, integrity, and honesty set out in the Consumer Protection Act.

• CONSUMER AWARENESS: We strive to raise consumer awareness about the integrity, content, and variety of fruit juices available by providing objective information, including the health benefits of fruit juice within a balanced diet.
